John Dugan – Principal
John has been passionate about real estate since buying his first home with a VA loan less than a year out of college. He continued this passion as a part-time investor while building his career as a corporate attorney in Silicon Valley and technology company executive at Kiva Systems (now Amazon Robotics). John is focused on bringing strong ideas and investment to the redevelopment of historic buildings in urban neighborhoods.
John is a lucky husband and proud father of three. When not working he enjoys landscape photography, running, and the occasional game of poker. John also serves as a Council Member and former Mayor of San Carlos, California.

Neil Shroff – Principal
Neil is a seasoned real estate investor and entrepreneur who began his journey by purchasing his first home while still in college. Since then, he has steadily expanded his real estate portfolio and activities. Neil holds an active California real estate broker’s license, which he uses both for his own account and to assist others—often in connection with a company sale.
Neil recently sold a large commercial property in Santa Clara which he reinvested into a portfolio of multi-tenant commercial buildings. He has also designed and built five custom homes—and remodeled two others—on the Peninsula, completing each new build under budget in an average of seven months.
Neil is also a successful serial entrepreneur who has founded and sold four companies across diverse industries, including education, biotech, manufacturing, and automotive parts. He currently serves on the board of a private equity–backed automotive parts company he both founded and sold.
A Bay Area native, Neil holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from U.C. San Diego.
